Roads and Footpaths
It was agreed in 2000 that officers of Stockton Borough Council would repair all Footpaths and Roads in order of priority, which would be decided by the engineers. Before pressure had been place upon council officers by Marjorie Simpson, there had been ten years of neglect of our roads and footpaths. Although the process was slow up until 2005, the improvements can now be seen with a promise of more works highlighted each year.
